Dr Syed Areesh Ahmad teaches Western political thought.

Being the founding professor of the journal, Dr Areesh is an inherent part of it as the Faculty Advisor. He has endeavoured to protect the undergraduate spirit of the journal by granting a complete autonomy in the editorial processes and decisions, while being the bridge between the administration and the Editorial Board.

He is an alumnus of the Aligharh Muslim University and the Jawaharlal Nehru University, and has written multiple scholarly papers, book reviews, and commentaries in the past.
